2010 was our first year of really trying to work with a team. Yes, we had been mushing for a few years, but all the pieces were coming together for us. It was a season of growth. When this season had started, Ana was training the "B" team, but by the end, Ana was "ok" running the "A" team; their strength and speed was intimidating. We always went out together - launching the team can be a lot to handle!
As the months colllided with each other, Ana finally had enough courage to take the teams out by herself. Once the snow hit, she was able to take them on the rail bed at night! Woohoo - night runs! but only on the rail bed. And she was still only running flat trails. Her longest run of the season was about 15 miles. But you got to start somewhere!
We did one race! It was a fun run without pressure and at a place where we train. We had a great time and more importantly, so did the dogs. It was a trail they were familiar with, so all they had to do was have fun and run!

This was the first race that the Brinbella dogs completed! Yeah!!! Very proud of them. This was our only race this season.
