We LOVE Aiko...He is big and fluffly and loves his belly rubs. What we have discovered that he doesnt like, is, running on snow!!! Go figure. His first year with us, he did all of Fall Training, jumping in his box for each run, never missing any. But once the snow hit, he decided that he prefers to play in the yard. So Aiko has a new job - Activities Director of Brinbella Kennel.
Each day, rain, snow, and shine, Aiko plays with each dog. He loves to play Monkey in the Middle and the girls love to play with him! He used to hate the rain and mud, but then he discovered frogs in the pond. Now if he gets loose, we know exactly where to find him. He is smart and funny and picks up obedience and tricks pretty easily with the right treats!

I used to be upset that Aiko stopped enjoying coming into the house for a nightime visit. Then, I looked at it from his prespective and realized that I would be the same way. Of course, he loves to hang out with Nik or myself. But in the house, there are rules and structure. He doesnt have Mom or Dad watching his every move outside. Outside is spacious with lots of other dogs where you can run, or dig, or create other mischief.
