Flash is fabulous! We originally borrowed her for a few runs last year (2011) while Luna was on maternity leave. She is from our friend, Christine (Seal Cove Kennels). Christine and I would meet at the trail head, and I would put Flash on our team for training. Wow - how different Alaskans are from Siberians. NEVER a sound from her! Eventually, Flash stayed with us. She is such a sweet girls - I have to admit I am not upset with how she took to me - Nik has had a much more difficult time with her. At first, Flash did not want anything to do with him, but she is coming 'round now. I think the sleeping on the bed next to him has helped quite a bit.
Flash is an awesome sled dog who adds a bit of calmness to the hook-up. She can faster than our dogs but is quite comfortable telling us it is time to come inside. Flash already has her name on the next available house slot (behind Ky and Mags though!)
