| Statistics Demavand’s Kyzul Kum Second Wind
DOB: June 18, 2002 Arrival Date to Kennel: February 2007
Nicknames: Ky Ky, KiKi, KiKiKy, KyGuy CERF (non-registered): Normal OFA: ----
Personality Traits: Ky is our shy guy – we have thought about training him as a therapy dog soon, because he doesn’t want to run on a regular basis. That’s fine, but given that he is smart and loves attention, I don’t want him to feel left out or bored if he isn’t running.
Favorite Toys: He's all about rawhides or food based treats (like Triple Crown's Everlast Treats).

In the last few months, Ky has really opened up. I (Anastasia) really feel like his personality has come out and that he is more comfortable in the yard. Its clear that he is higher up in the hierarchy that he used to be, which may add to that comfort and ease. For me, Ky is it. I can not wait to go mushing this year with him. Will he go on every run? Maybe not, but I also know what I can and cannot ask of him. He knows that I know that and if I ask of him something he does not want to do, he knows there is a reason. That sounds very anthropomorphic but its not really. Its the deepening of our relationship and I really get it now. I think that is one reason why I am soo excited about this year, because of that deepening. Taking him out, I have no fears or worries - none. I trust him. Ky is not going to lead me astray (mostly because it means more work for his payoff at the truck), and he will be consistent.
We both believe that he is the smartest dog we have - minimal effort for maximum pay-off!
